Jacob Benjamin Griffith, 27, of Memphis, left this Earth too early but will never be forgotten. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. You could always count on Jake to be there with a smile on his face! Jake loved the Lord, his family and was an incredible son, brother and friend. There wasn’t a harder worker than Jake. He graduated from Evangelical Christian School where he served as class treasurer and was always a class favorite. Jake went on to attend the University of Arkansas and he loved his Razorbacks. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha where he served as Internal VP and Secretary. Jake had many passions including traveling the world, going to the lake but, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Jake was the CFO for Artisent Floors. Jake leaves behind his parents, Barry and Sherri Griffith, siblings, Alex Griffith (Kristen), Madelyn Griffith, and Rebecca Griffith, nephew, Banks Griffith, soon-to-be nephew, Hunt Griffith, and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 18th from 1-3 p.m. with a celebration of Jake’s life beginning at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Evangelical Christian School, 7600 Macon Rd. Cordova. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Memphis Union Mission (P.O. Box 330 Memphis, TN. 38101) or the Jacob Durham Award (7600 Macon Rd. Cordova, TN 38018).
