

James Scott Bevis passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2015 in Bartlett, TN at the age of 49. Scott is survived by his parents Thomas and Frances Bevis of Memphis, his wife of 25 years Tina (Morrow), his daughter Lauren and his son Landon, all of Bartlett. His is also survived by his brother Andy Bevis of Memphis, his in-laws James and Hazel Morrow of Memphis, two sisters-in-law Susan Wilson (Mike) of Bartlett and Lynn Zills of Memphis, three nieces Ashley Wilson, Allyson Kralis (Jason) of Bartlett, Kensie Zills of Memphis, and one nephew Michael Wilson (Katie) of Bartlett. Scott was born September 22, 1965 to Thomas and Frances Bevis of Memphis. He graduated from FACS Class of 1984, the University of Memphis Class of 1988, and was a long-time employee of AutoZone. Scott was a dedicated individual who loved sports, especially football. He loved the Memphis Tigers, Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals, and Memphis Grizzlies. He was a member of Mullins Station Baptist Church. The visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 12 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
