Janice Ann Walker

Janice Ann Walker, 61 of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Friday, May 17 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Janice was born to Genevieve Walker and the late James Walker, December 31, 1951 in Batavia, NY. She was a devoted grandmother and mother and will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Janice was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Trinity Foster of Memphis, TN, her brother James Walker Jr. and nephew, Jason J. Gioia of Batavia, NY. Janice is survived by 4 children: Karen Williams; Marcy Wenzler (Jarred); Ashley Ramsey; Morgan Ramsey III (Katie) and 3 grandchildren: Nikki; Destany; and Drake of Memphis, TN. Janice is also survived by her brother; John Walker (Wendy); her sister; Pattie Gioia (Frank) of Batavia, NY; 4 nephews: Frank Gioia (Angela); Chad Gioia; John Walker (Samantha) and James Walker and a niece; Amber Bates of Batavia, NY. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. with a memorial service starting a 6 p.m. on Monday, May 20th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
