

Jeanette Tolleson Ruddell, 81, of Collierville, TN, passed away in the early morning hours of August 20, 2020. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband Charles Ruddell, her parents Ruth Smith Tolleson, Charles Tolleson and stepmother Faye Tolleson, brother Jim Tolleson, sister in-laws Joan Tolleson, Jeanette Lynn and Geraldine Jones, brother in-laws Charles Lynn and Pee Wee Wood and grandsons Aaron and Bradley Faulk. She is survived by daughters Angela Ruddell and Tracy Faulk (Danny), grandchildren, Daniel, Katherine, and William Faulk, and siblings Sonny Tolleson, Carol Tolleson Kalitzke (Dave), Bobby Tolleson, David Tolleson (Crissy) , and Darryl Tolleson (Clay), sister in-laws Betty Ann Wood and Barbara Tolleson, brother in-law Paul Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was a Christian, a loving wife, mom and sister, and a friend to many. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and grandpups. She liked to cook, bake, celebrate the holidays, and listen to Gospel music. As a devout member of Germantown Baptist Church, Jeanette was active in her Sunday School class, the Hallelujah Chorus, and Merry Makers. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Born and raised in Atlanta, she held steadfast to her love of Coca-Cola, the Varsity, and the Braves. Jeanette retired from the Internal Revenue Service, where she was once recognized as Secretary of the Year. Post-retirement, she worked as a secretary at Germantown Baptist Church.

Jeanette’s beautiful smile and kind spirit will be forever treasured and greatly missed. Until we meet again in Heaven…
Her family will be honoring her life at a private graveside service, Sunday, August 23, 2020.
