John Leslie Dennie

He was born to the late Arthur and Hattie Dennie on April 28th, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Mae Stephens.

John is survived by his wife of 73 years, Miladeen Dennie; his daughters, Cheryl Jon Wood; Nikki Mitchell (Michael), Deena Abeysekera (Neomal); grandchildren, Kellie Dood (Jim), John Mitchell (Emily), Chelsea Olea (Alex), Kyle Wood (Bim); great-grandsons, Thomas John Mitchell and Jax Dood; and his brother, James Otto Dennie (Virginia).

Memorials may be made to the Collierville First Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Memphis Union Mission.

A graveside service will be at 11:15am on Saturday, May 7th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
