John D Moffitt

John D Moffitt, 84, passed away July 31, 2018. John was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and faithful friend to many. He was a native of Lexington, TN and graduate of Lexington High School and The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy at Memphis. He was the owner of People’s Pharmacy on Park Avenue for over 30 years. John was a member of Bartlett Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Moffitt, his sister Patsy Coffman, his son Mike Moffitt (Lynn), his daughter, Susan Moffitt, his three grandchildren; Kyle Moffitt (Nikki), Courtney Clothier (Drew), Morgan Boon (Will), and his four great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 10:00 am with a short visitation to begin at 9:00 am.
