He was preceded in death by his wife, Candice Smith and his paternal grandfather, Roland Thomas Smith.

John is survived by his children, Madison Patricia Smith, Lilah Faye Smith, Landon John Smith; his mother, Teresa Weaver (Jerry), his father, John Smith, Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Lois Smith; sister, Heather Weaver, Jericca Weaver; brothers Frisco Weaver (Liberty), and Jerry Lee Weaver, Jr.

Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday, March 20th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will be follow at 10:00am.
