Josie Diaz Rippe

Josie was born August 7, 1944 in Samar, Philippines to the late Andres and Bariliana Diaz. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity and was retired from Shelby County Schools. Josie enjoyed her garden, cooking and taking care of her family and loved being a member of her church.

Josie is survived by her daughter, Tammy Brady (Eric); son John Rippe; granddaughter, Riley Rippe; sisters, Lita Schachner (Tom), Trina Hayes (Frank); brothers, Jose Diaz (Maria), Rudy Diaz (Rosal),

Renato Diaz (Minda) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was married to Gene Rippe from 1969 until his death in 2011.
