L. Bernice Shelby

Bernice was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was a kind, gentle, caring person, loved people, and never complained.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Shelby; her son, Kenneth Lee Shelby; and her siblings, Juanita Galloway, Odis McKee, John McKee, and Alton Vaughn.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Luna (Hugh), Nelda Vaughn; brothers, Jim McKee (Darlene), Ricky McKee (Martha Nell); her son, Lynn Coffman; Sister in laws, Nellie Shelby and Evon Kelley; her brother in law, James Shelby; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 8:30am to 10:00am on Tuesday, June 11th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 10:00am.
