Lineal D. Tate, 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Arkansas but lived most of her life in Memphis. She graduated from Tech High School and retired from Plough Corp. Ms. Tate is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jo Cook, grandson, Stephen E. Cook, granddaughter, Sheryl L. and husband Thomas Arnold, two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Nathan, and two great-great grandchildren, Emma and Kayla, all of Memphis, sister, Carol Bradley, Co., and a brother, Roy Dickson Jr., Tx. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred Bogue Dickson, Horsehoe Bend, Ar., her husband, Eugene Tate, and sister, Jean LeMay. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
