

Ligia Lissette Krayenhagen, 50, of Bartlett, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born on March 15, 1964 in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. One of the proudest moments in her life was on July 25, 2003 when she became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. Lissette was a personal banker with Wells Fargo Bank having received numerous sales and account awards and was one of the top performing Personal Banker in the states of Nebraska and Tennessee. She met the love of her life, Scot, in April 1996 and they were married in December of that year. Along with her dear husband, she is also survived by her Parents, Mario Cesar Negreros Tejeda and Elsa Magaly Ruiz Aranda de Negreros, of Huehuetenango, Guatemala; brothers, Mario Rodolfo Negreros Ruiz of Peten, Guatemala and Juan Carlos Negreros Ruiz of Huehuetenango, Guatemala; sisters, Iliana Magali Negreros de Bergmeier (Walter) of Erding, Germany, Ingrid Alejandrina Negreros de Weidinger (Maximillian) of Passau, Germany and Carmen Luisa Negreros de Hansen (Holger) of Schweig, Germany. Mass will be said at Catholic Church of the Nativity at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31. Friends may visit from 1 p.m. An informal gathering of friends and family will be Friday evening, August 1 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A Rosary service will begin at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial gifts be made at any Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Lissette Krayenhagen. Lissette began her career in broadcasting working in all departments of this company, the most successful in the country, with six radio and one television station, delivering programming throughout Guatemala. Lissette wrote, mixed, and voiced commercials. Radio and music became her passion. She rose to the top as the Director of Production and Programming.
1992-1994 Negreros Family Business Administrator – Huehuetenango
During these two years, Lissette returned to her home town to work with her Father to direct and administrate with their Radio Zaculeu 99.5 FM, ice cream shops, Volkswagon Auto Dealership and parts distributor.
1994-1996 Emisoras Unidas-Yo Si Sideral – Guatemala City
Lissette moved to this company as Director of Production and Programming, Writer, and Coordinator. This radio station, 90.3 FM was the most popular pop radio station in the country with 2 million listeners.
Lissette created the most successful program in the history of Guatemalan Radio. Lissette wrote, coordinated and directed the 3 hour morning show, A TODO DAR for the radio station.
Lissette coordinated and directed special interviews with many singers, artists and politicians including:
Latina singer Selena, Latino singer Ricky Martin
Former Presidents of Guatemala, Ramiro De Leon Carpio and Alvaro Arzu in the Presidential Palace.
Radio was the love of Lissette’s life, her career here was everything. She immersed herself in her work and was very successful. Everyone she touched loved her.

In April 1996 God put Lissette and Scot paths on a crash course. They met while attending the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was love at first sight. What began as a chance meeting, dancing, and dinner began a 2,000 mile relationship via email and telephone. In September of that year, Lissette invited Scot to Guatemala where he asked Lissette’s father for her hand in marriage. This led to their story book marriage overlooking Guatemala City. This marriage was of true love, two people that joined forever, took on the world and won.
