Lonnie taught me how to be a mom, showed me just how unconditional love feels. My first born.  He loved everyone and had a heart of gold. Doesn't matter where I go , Memphis,  Collierville , Fayette county...I always run into someone that knew him. I'm so proud of the son, husband, and father he became. That's the one thing I did right raising him. Thank you all for your love and support....
 

We are both deeply saddened by the loss of our "almost" grandson-in-law.  Lonnie was a very nice and polite young man who loved my granddaughter with all his heart. He waited on Kayla hand and foot and treated little Layla like she was a princess.  He was sooo proud of them.  We will miss him very much and think of him every day. 

Lonnie has been like a son to us these past 10 years. We love him as one of our own. We were blessed to have him. He was also a good friend. Michael & I will miss him for the rest of our days.

It's hard without you Lonnie. I miss talking to you...I miss hearing the excitement in your voice when we talked about Leyla....I miss you telling me how in love you are with Kayla and that she's the one. I miss your smile and all the hell you gave me. Most of all I miss hearing " I love you mom".

I love you so much, words cannot describe the bond that we shared. You will always hold a place in my heart until my last breath.  We started dating when I was fourteen and then we were never apart since then. We started talking alike and would bust out laughing when we would sing the same parts of a song. Oh Lonnie.  I will forever miss you.  But I will stay strong for our princess. 

Lonnie was one of the best most inviting people I've ever known. He accepted everybody for who they were. He was as sweet as he could be and as tough as nails. We weren't as close as I would have like to had been but our bond was there even after months of not talking he would pick back up and act like it was last week.  He loved Kayla so much and I remember exactly how happy he was to find out he was gunna be a dad. He wanted a little princess from the moment he found out Kayla was expecting.  Kayla was the love of his life he could never love anyone the way he loved her and I know his dream came true when they finally made that family they would often talk about. Kayla is my best friend. And I know he wanted our kids to grow up knowing eachother. I will keep that promise to Lonnie  I made so many years ago and then confirmed again when he found out I am expecting. Our kids will be good friends Lonnie, their bond will be like ours if not better. And you will get to see it all from up above.  We all love and miss u so much but I can find happiness in the fact that you are no longer in pain. Rest in paradise my friend. 

Even tho I've only met him a few times if that he was so sweet. He loved Kayla and Layla so much. He always put them first before anyone. I pray for his family Through this difficult time. 

 Such a happy spirit , and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met . Every memory I have with him & Kayla are nothing but amazing times . He always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to put one on yours . I don’t believe any words can truly describe how amazing  Lonnie  was or help with the loss of someone so precious . Tho I hope someone may find peace in this  “Those we love never truly leave us, There are somethings death cannot touch “ I love you all and pray that God be with you through this time . 

Lonnie is my brother and let me tell you he loved kayla and layla with every single ounce of his body and there is no greater love than that. He loved myself and my mom the same as well. He always supported me in every decision i have ever made even when we hadn’t talked in months. There is no greater love than that. He loved our mom no matter what no matter what decision she ever made...he supported. There is no greater love than that. He loved shannon , ali, Michael, bhodi , Mandy , Mike , Terra , and lanie ( sorry about spelling) and supported them. He supported all of us and THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN THAT. We all have a guardian angel now. We love you Lonnie thank you for being who you were. You are one of a kind❤️

Lonnie was such a good friend of mine, more like a big brother I didn’t have.. I’ve seen the best in Lonnie all the time, he was never down. We’ve had so many good memories over the years, I’m really going to miss every conversation we have ever had.. he was the best person I knew on the inside and the out. Fly high big bro, you will never be forgotten.. 

I remember when Lonnie and Kayla were over our house and he was just so happy . He danced in our living room and played with our kids for hours. He was truly a great person and our very best friend. We will never forget the amazing times we spent with him..he was loved so much. Our biggest condolences go out to his family, kayla and that little piece of him he left with us, layla. We love you Lonnie , forever and always.
