Lorn Haldane Crowe, Sr passed away at the age of 88 on Friday, April 2, 2021 at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on September 18, 1932 to Melton E Crowe and Ester Neal Crowe in Seminole, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Beverly Jean Wellington Crowe and his children; Haldane Crowe, Jr (Dawn) of Colorado Springs CO, Kevin Crowe (Wanda) of Iberia MO, Christie Bradford (Steve) of Portageville MO. His three grandchildren; Carol Anne Crowe (Seth), Chris Allen Crowe (Emily), Brandon Scott Bradford (Courtney) and Randi Lynn Bradford Nash (deceased). His eight great-grandchildren; Leigh Ann Nash (deceased), Blake Tyler, Hunter Tyler, Rhett Tyler, Judah Crowe, Benjamin Crowe, Levi Crowe, Blake Ivy Bradford and a host of other family and friends.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Ford Motor Company and after retirement worked at Synergy Gas Company. He enjoyed working periodically for the Memphis Stage Hands Union at the Orpheum Theater. He served as song leader and Elder for many years in the Christian Church. He was an avid gardener and loved Gospel Music and Opera Music. He loved to cheer on his alma mater Oklahoma University Football. His greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his wife dearly and adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He and his wife also cared for many foster children in their home throughout the years. He loved making people laugh by telling his silly jokes.
He served Jesus with his whole heart and he loved to talk about his faith in Christ with others. He will be missed by his family and so many friends he has made throughout his life.
