M.E. “Eddie” Matlock, Jr., 47, of Millington, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011. He was a musician the bands 714, TNA and Gravy. Mr. Matlock leaves his mother, Joyce H. Matlock; daughters, Shelby Matlock, Chelsey Matlock, Niki Mohundro and Morgan Fresonke; sister, Sandi White; brother, Tony Sarg; and granddaughter, Callie Mohundro. He was preceded in death by his father, M.E. “Jimmy” Matlock, Sr. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, April 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 29 at the funeral home with a private family interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
