Margaret Ann Hertzog passed away on January 5, 2026. She leaves behind her husband, David Hertzog, and their three daughters, Carri Pratt, Nicki Juhl, and Jessica Dillion; sons-in-law, Clint Pratt and Kevin Dillion; grandchildren, Taylor Wingo (Austin Wingo), Shea Pratt, Coleton and Madelyn Juhl, and Kaleb and Skylar Dillion; and brother, Andrew Whatule.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Whatule, and father, Andrew Whatule Sr.
Margaret was born on February 7, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, and attended high school at Penn-Trafford, where she graduated with honors in 1965. Margaret and David met in 1969 and were married in the summer of 1970. They have been married for 55 years and have been on many wonderful adventures together.
Margaret was a devout Catholic and attended church at St. Ann’s Church in Bartlett, TN. Margaret’s kind spirit, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee, on January 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Ann Catholic Church and School, 6529 Stage Rd, Bartlett, Tennessee, on January 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:50 am. Entombment with escorted cortege will immediately follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
