I am a part of the family. I including others miss you dearly. I'm writing about her for my project "What makes a hero". She was truly a hero and a strong heart.

I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about Maria.  We worked together at T&B, but I relocated back to Wisconsin and lost contact with her.   She was a joy to work with and was extremely helpful when ever I asked for assistance.   Sorry for the late response and my best wishes to her family and friends,    John 3:16

Mariana exuded warmth & light & love in a world that is all too often dark & uncaring. She was an amazing woman & will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Maria was a very special and beautiful person and colleague I had the pleasure of working with on a few projects a few yeas ago at ABB. She always amazed me with her brilliance and intelligence along with her generosity and caring nature. She will be truly missed.

Mariana was so kind and beautiful inside and out. She graciously cooked for my family when I was ill. I will never forget her kindness, love, sincerity and beautiful spirit. Her smile was enough to brighten your day regardless of how you were feeling. I am truly a better person for knowing her.

There is no word in any language that can describe the deep hurt and pain one feels when a loved one is called home. Time doesn't heal it, but it does allow you to deal with it better.  Tears will always flow.  But as time goes on, they become less frequent. Take comfort in the fact that this woman was one of the best people anyone could ever know. Her light was so bright that it's still shining in the hearts of people like me.  Love you guys.


My name is  Fa Diop and I have been knowing Maria for 22 years. We both worked in the International Department at Thomas and Betts ( our former company’s name) . I have full memories of my dear friend but I will only share a few.I immediately liked her positive attitude,  i do not remember seeing Maria upset. Her constant smile used to make me smile.                                                                                          Maria rarely addressed me by my name. It was always , “Hi my friend “ with a bright smile on her face. We could talk for hours without seeing the time passing by.   Our conversation was always insightful and could  be about her trips to Romania , recipes ( she was a good cook) .  She always proudly                                       spoke of her family , One of her most exciting moments was when she had her daughter Laura.                                                                         Maria was so knowledgeable that her name was famous throughout the company.   She was courageous and forever curious about -everything-                           
  I will miss you my friend, more than anybody knows…. You made me laugh, and you were always there to help me figure problems out. You listened to me when I was upset, and cheered  me up when I was down.  The love and attention you gave me will forever stay in my mind. 
My friend, my colleague, my hero , you fought a good fight .Rest In Peace in our almighty father’s kingdom.
