Maria Victoria LaCava Hulley, 80, of Collierville,TN, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Maria was born on May 6, 1936 in Secondigliano, Naples, Italy, to the late Antonio LaCava and Assunta Albano LaCava. She married. Kenneth E. Hulley USN Ret. MCPO and spent 53 years being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her siblings Anna Haun, Antonio LaCava, Giuseppina Browning, and Leandro LaCava. Maria is survived by her loving husband Ken, her children G. Jessica Suzore, Jim Hulley (Gwen), and Gene Hulley, three sisters; Rosaria Vaughn, Carmela Paderi,and Amelia Cowles, and nine grandchildren.My mom cared and loved her nieces and nephews with such devotion that the ones who have already lost their mother call my mom "mamma." The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time at 2pm, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Stroke Association or to the charity of donor’s choice.
