

Martha Jane Walters, (Konersmann), 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee with family at her bedside. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 67 years, Thomas Walters, parents Leo and Beulah (Newcomb), brothers Robert (late Marion) and Richard Konersmann, sister Marjorie (late John) Rosener, and stepdaughter Mary Elizabeth Walters.
Martha is survived by her children Kathleen Walters, Linda (Thomas) Radley, Patricia (R. Scott) Morgan. Her grandchildren Sheri (Dan) Guynn, Kyle (Keri) Radley, Nicholas (Tara) Meyer, James and Meagan Morgan. Her step-grandchildren Tammy (Tim) Payton, Sean (Kim) Steadman, Julie (Matt) Cox, and Shelia Zielinski.
Martha is also survived by her great grandchildren Dayton and Kaden Stewart, Ethan Radley, Chase and Carson Meyer. Her step-great grandchildren Sara (Bill) Brown, Shana Lynn, Jake Zielinski, and her step-great-great-grandchildren Gauge and Jada June Brown.
In addition, Martha is survived by her sister-in-law Charlene (Hamman) Konersmann, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Martha was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1931, and she married in 1951. The couple settled in Jefferson County, Missouri, and together they created Sycamore Green Acres Mobile Home Park in Dittmer, Missouri serving the community for 49 years. She enjoyed baking, sewing, embroidering, crossword puzzles, country music shows, and traveling. Martha loved her family above all and made everyone feel special. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she made it magical. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A family and friends visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home in Bartlett, Tennessee on Monday, November 10th at 8:30 a.m. Immediately following, travel to her final resting place will begin to Chapel Hill Mortuary Mausoleum 6300 State Route 30 Cedar Hill, Missouri with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in her name.
