Mary Frances Brown

Mary Frances Brown, 87, of Memphis, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Purda and Avrilla Kidd Hunt and was born in Nicholasville, KY on April 22, 1928. Mrs. Brown enjoyed bowling, reading crocheting, and gardening. Mary Frances was married to the late Meredith (Bud) Brown for 50 years and is survived by a stepdaughter, Debra Owen Marter of Victoria, MS; two stepsons, Steve (Barbara Hale) Brown of Memphis and Bruce Brown of Olive Branch, MS; three sisters, Emma June (Edward) Agnew, Ora Lee (Loren) Schwade and Anna Louise (Loren) Combs; three brothers, Bernie (Gladys) Hunt, Clarence (Ramona) Hunt and Purda Hunt, Jr.; three sisters in law, Juanita, Betty and Janet Hunt; five grandchildren, James Robert (Ellisa Kay) Webster, Jr., Samantha Owen (Matt) Linder, Stephanie Nicole Brown, Ashley (Caleb) Noland and Christopher Paul Brown; great grandchildren, Cody, Ryan and Kylee; daughter in law, Susan Webster and her beloved terrier, Molly. Along with Mr. Brown, she was preceded in death by her son, James Robert Webster, Sr., brothers, J.W., Walter, Miles Frederick, Ernest Lee and William Douglas Hunt and a sister in law, Hazel Hunt. Visitation will be on Saturday evening, March 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the Ave Maria Home, 2805 Charles Bryan Rd., Bartlett, TN Funeral Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, March 20, at Ave Maria. Interment will be at 9 a.m., Monday morning, March 21 in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
