Mary, was born in Memphis, TN to WF Phillips and Dorothy Phillips. She graduated from Bartlett High School, and went on to assist running a family business. Mary enjoyed traveling, and spending time working on her art. Over the years, she enjoyed various art projects in and out of the home. She loved her home and found peace working in her yard.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, WF Phillips, mother, Dorothy Phillips, and brother, John Phillips. She is survived her children, Lawrence Cooper Jr, Christopher Cooper and Michael Patrick Cooper, her 3 grandchildren, Lawrence, Hannah, and Sara, her sister, Elizabeth (Sissy) Owens and brothers, Billy Davis and Winston Phillips.
Visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd Bartlett, TN 38133. Services will begin at 2:00 pm. Immediately following the service there will be a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
