Mattie S. Foster, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Foster, the widow of Lee O. Foster leaves four daughters, Sarah Jane Harville of Conehatta, MS, Shirley Ann Huss of Cleveland, Clara Elizabeth Vernon of Olathe, KS and Norma Sue Adams of Lakeland, TN; two sons, Roger Lee Foster of Burlison, TX and Danny Ervin Foster of Atoka; sister, Rebecca Jernigan of Jackson, MS; two brothers, H.C. Isbell of Finger, TN and Ted Isbell of Olive Branch; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Ervin Isbell and a brother, Warren Isbell. The family will receive friends this evening, Friday, August 6 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
