Melanie will always be remembered for the unconditional love she held for her husband and children. Her passion for serving others took her into a career where she was a special education teachers aid at Barret's Chapel in Arlington, TN. There she loved and cared for every child she came in touch with.
She was the sweetest most loving person in the world. You hear that a lot but it was true of Melanie. She was a caregiver to so many people as well as her children. All her children are special but she especially loved raising Tyler, her non verbal autistic son who she spent so much ❤ on. Yet with all that she still had time for everyone else.
Melaine leaves behind to cherish her memory, Michael Jerden, her husband. Three children: daughter, Adriana, and sons, Michael and Tyler Jerden. She also leaves behind her parents, Drs. Kenneth and Lucia Vanderpool, two sisters, Kathleen Vanderpool Manning, and Suzanne Hodge (Wally). Also, one brother Kenneth Vanderpool Jr.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MemphisFuneralGermantownParkway.com for the Jerden family.
Arrangements under the direction of Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Bartlett, TN.
