Michael Stewart, 37, of Millington, TN., passed away on May 30, 2013. He is survived by his mother Brenda Stewart of Dyersburg, TN., sister Dawn Brown (David) of Alamo, TN., two brothers Melvin Stewart (Cindy) of Effingham, IL., and Chuck Stewart (Debbie) of Mattoon, IL., his three children, Hadley, Thomas, and Molly Stewart of Millington, nieces Ariell Beasley, Haleigh Brown both of Alamo, TN., and Amanda Stewart Steffen (Kurk) of Chicago, IL., his girlfriend Amanda Burns and her daughter Audri Walk, and a special friend Elizabeth Tino. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Stewart, sister, Christie Kelly and a niece, Lilly Brown. Mr. Stewart went to Hope Presbyterian Church, he was an officer for the Memphis Police Department, Navy veteran, and a bone marrow donor. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3rd from 5-9pm at Bellevue Baptist Church. There will be a funeral on Tuesday at 10am also at the church. Burial will follow the service at Nance Cemetery in Alamo, TN.
