We want to share that Mike Parks has gone to his heavenly home. He went to sleep on the happiest day of his life, telling his bride that he loved her with all his heart, that God is good all the time, and that he loved his family dearly.
Mike is survived by his wife, Genell; his sons, Adam (Maura) and Andrew; his five grandchildren, Ava, Lily, Aiden, Grace, and Hope; his sister, Pennye Thompson (Barry); and his mother, Hortense.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burleigh Howard Parks, and his first wife, Kathleen Bullard Parks.
Mike was well known for his kind heart and compassion for others. His strongest desire was for everyone to know Jesus. We will sorely miss him, but we hold fast to the promise that we will see him again.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 8899 Trinity Road, Cordova, TN 38018 on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 6pm.
