Myrtis Holifield

She was born to the late Andy and Sarah Nowell on May 8th, 1929 in Jones County, Mississippi. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother, and her grandson, Richie Danley.

Myrtis is survived by her children, Judy Danley (Larry), Michael Holifield (Ann), Kenny Holifield (Annie), Martha Lockley (Ricky); grandchildren, Ashley Cooper (Matt), Amy Sprayberry (Jamie), Leslie Scott (David), Jason Holifield (Cathy), Brian Holifield, Beth Younger (Jeremy), Paige Pajkurish (Daniel), Jessica Lockley, Joshua Lockley; great-grandchildren, Tyler Cooper, Savannah Cooper, Peyton Cooper, Brendon Frankell (Savannah), Cody Sprayberry (Samantha), Katie Sprayberry, Macy Scott, Solomon Scott, Ava Holifield, Olivia Holifield, Tyson Holifield, Riley Younger, Jesse Goodwin, Megan Goodwin, Lukas Stewart, Logan Stewart, Lilly Escue, Layla Lockley, Lawson Lockley; 2 great-great grandbabies, Oliver Frankell and Shepherd Frankell and 1 on the way.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday, February 12th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 10:00am.
