Nancy Danielle Cothern

Nancy Danielle Cothern “Nanny” went to be with the Lord, on January 14, 2021 at the age of 81. Nancy was born to Talbert and Ruby Kelley on August 11, 1939. She graduated from Tech High School. Nancy and Dwight were married for 39 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and survived by her sister, Pat Ann White (Tom). Nancy retired as a hairdresser after 25 years. Also, she was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. Nancy was the proud mother to her three daughters Debbie Jones (Robbie), Cherie Long (Sidney) and Ginnie Perry (Rusty). She was also the proud grandmother to five grandchildren, Chad Long, Mindy Raburn, Kelley Taylor, Ashley Leopard and Karley Leopard; great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ben Cannon, Ella Ruth, Haven, Nolan, Robert Mac, Josie and one on the way! She was also a stepmother to Tina Rimner (Keith) and Wayne Cothern (Michelle). Nancy cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends. She will be missed deeply. Nancy never gave up hope after fighting ALS for 18 years.

The funeral will be at Germantown Memphis Funeral Home Chapel, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133. The visitation starts at 9:00am and funeral service at 10:00am. Burial will be at Memphis Memory Garden, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange, Memphis, TN 38134.
