Nancy "Smitty" E. Smith

Nancy Jean Smith, age 89, of Bartlett, Tennessee lost her battle to Alzheimer's Disease on Monday, October 26, 2020. Nancy was born August 21, 1931 to the late John and Helen Parry. She worked at St, Joseph Hospital for 33 years where she started as a nurses aid and then became the unit secretary of the Emergency of Room.

Nancy is preceded in death by four of her siblings: Jack, Barbara, Bunny and Bobby. She is survived by her 7 children; Debbie McDonald, Susie Helm, Kathy Looney, Billy Smith, John Smith, Teresa Cobb, and Lisa Milloway, 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and a host of lifetime friends.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Nancy can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
