Nancy L. Wells

Nancy L. Wells, was a giving, loving and compassionate person that was born March 25, 1949 and went to be with her Lord & Savior on September 14, 2014. Nancy was born in Memphis, TN to Frank and Pearl Younger. She graduated from Messick High in 1967. She continued her education at Memphis State, now the University of Memphis, and earned a teaching degree in 1971. Nancy worked as a teacher and also worked with children at Bellevue Baptist Church for over 25 years. Nancy leaves behind: her husband, Doug Wells, of Bartlett, TN; daughter, Holly L. Cole and son in law, Andrew Cole, of Southaven, MS; son, Robert F. Lee and daughter in law, Crystal M. Lee, of Marion, AR; 5 grandchildren, Kasson and Caleb Sanborn, Carly Cosmini, Seth Cole and Sam Cole. Nancy was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She loved Jesus and loved teaching children about The Lord. She touched many lives, sharing Jesus wherever she went. Nancy will be greatly missed by her family, friends and church family as well as the children she taught. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, TN.
