Nicky Joe Horton, 56, of Arlington, was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Memphis on Monday, February, 13, 2012. Nicky was a master craftsman and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his son, Nick Horton of Arlington; his mother, Velvalene Horton of Bartlett; his brother, Mike Horton (Carla) of Eads; two sisters, Sherry Callicutt of Arlington, and Lisa Morris (Tony) of Rosemark. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb 17 at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens (formerly Memory Hill Gardens). His sweet smile and humor will be dearly missed by his many friends and family, who find comfort knowing that he knew Jesus as his Savior.
