Nola Jean Surratt

Nola Jean Surratt, age 89, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Nola was born July 20, 1931 in Selmer, TN. She was a longtime member of Leawood Baptist Church where she was very active in Sunday School Classes and Homebound Ministries. Mrs. Surratt loved to sew, travel, and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Paul Edward Surratt and four siblings. Mrs. Surratt is survived by her children; Gregory Paul Surratt, Gloria Jean Bumpas, Patricia Gail McDaniel, three grandchildren; Lauren Dianne Galyon, Ryan Austin Surratt, Lindsay Michelle Smith, and four great grandchildren; Austin Surratt, Camden Surratt, Keagan Surratt, and William Galyon Jr.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time at 11 am, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
