Ray Neier passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 in Daphne, Alabama. He will join his beloved wife, Irene Neier who proceeded him in death. He was a retired logistics computer analyst for the Defense Department and a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War. In retirement he became a published author of children's books and poetry.
His surviving family includes his sister Elizabeth Wallingford, his daughter Tammy Neier Little with her husband Jim Little and their children Harrison Little and Victoria Little, his daughter Amy Halbrooks with husband Ricky Halbrooks and their children Troy Halbrooks and Paisley Halbrooks, and a multitude of nieces and nephews and cousins and friends, all of whom he cherished deeply.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, on Friday, August 25, 2017, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown PKWY, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, in the chapel at St. Ann Bartlett Catholic Church, 3529 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN 38134.
