Rebecca “Becky” Vales, 92 of East Ridge, TN passed away in Arlington, TN on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.She was a member of Airport Baptist Church, was among the first members of Alamand Hall, past president of Pairs and Squares, Chatta Squares and Rectangles. She also was an avid gardener. MS Vales is survived by a daughter and son in law, Maxine and Robert Inman of Arlington; four grandchildren, William W. (Lisa) Haynes, III of Texas, Stan (Jane) Haynes of Chattanooga, Audry (Mohamed) Basma and Linda (Dennis) Baker, all of Barton, MS; and four great grandchildren, Nabil Basma, Matthew Pike, Rami Basma and Michael Haynes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Luther. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, August 18 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 19 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
