Richard Louis Davenport Jr.

He was born to Richard and Lynda Davenport on March 19th, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. He adored and cherished his wife, children, and family. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who spent many hours duck hunting with his treasured dog, Zeus. He found peace in riding his motorcycle and enjoyed drawing, painting, and many other hobbies. Recognized for his dedication, hard work, and self-motivation as a laborer, he rose to Project Manager at OT Marshall Architects and then Vice President of Construction at Sky Cop.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sally Babb; paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Roy Davenport; his uncle, Michael Davenport; and his brother in law, John D. Oswalt.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Missy Davenport; his children, Cassidy and Mason Davenport; his sister, Amy Stonecipher (Morry); step-mother, Renee Davenport; nephews, Jonathan Stonecipher, Patrick Stonecipher (Chloe); niece, Hanna Janda; great-nieces, Sophie and Emma Janda; his aunt Katy Johnson (Lorne); his cousin, Hunter Johnson; and his mother and father in law, Carol and John R. Oswalt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
