

Roger Elwood Hall, 73, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey B. (Rodey) and Elwood G. Hall. Mr. Hall is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Joyce Anne (Rickman) Hall, children Brian (Donna) Hall of Temperance, MI., Cheryl (David) Estel and Jeff (Misty) Hall all of Cordova, TN., seven grandchildren, and two brothers Gary Hall of Toledo, OH. and Wayne Hall of Kissimmee, FL. Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Navy where he was on the USS Lake Champlain. After the Navy he went to and graduated from the University of Toledo. After school, he worked as a Marketing Manager for Dana Corp. in Toledo, OH. for 26 years and then for Cummins Diesel ReCon in Memphis for 21 years. Mr. Hall is a member at First Assembly of God and was on the Board of Deacons in both Toledo, OH. and Memphis TN. He taught Sunday school for many years. He and his wife led the Keenagers group at Christ The Rock. He was on several bowling leagues and loved to go range shooting. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday May 6th from 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 11am at First Assembly of God, 8650 Walnut Grove Rd. Cordova, TN. 38018. The burial will follow the funeral at Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First Assembly of God to purchase a water well in Africa.
