Sandra Kay Smith

Sandra Kay Smith, age 79 of Grand Junction, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2026 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Somerville, Tennessee. She was born June 29th, 1946 in New Albany, Mississippi to Ben and Oleta Treadaway.

She was married to Jerry Smith for 54 years.

She worked for Target for 15 years until she retired. She had a home childcare business for many years before working at Target.

She loved traveling seeing all 50 States of the United States. She also loved traveling to visit her grandchildren. Especially around each of their birthdays so she could share their birthdays with them. She made a lot of special memories with each one.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Smith. Her three sons John Mills (Annette), Michael (Stacy), Cameron (Tanya) and her brother Ben Treadaway (Judy).

She had 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Austin Thomas, and granddaughter Emma Angeline.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 2 P.M.–4 P.M.

Funeral will be held Monday, February 23, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
