Sandra Brown Swilley

Sandra Brown Swilley, age 81, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Sandra was born April 1, 1939 in Vicksburg, MS. Mrs. Swilley was a graduate of Delta State University where she received her bachelors degree. She retired from teaching from Memphis City Schools and Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. Sandra was a member of Raleigh United Methodist Church where she was actively involved with Sunday School, VBS, Women's Group, and various other church activities. She enjoyed scrap booking, crafts, and cooking.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Swilley. She is survived by her son, David Thomas Swilley and his wife Marie, her daughter, Jan Swilley, three grandchildren, Ashlyn Arnold, Logan Arnold, Halie Peeples and her husband Kevin , four great grandchildren, Montavious, Avery, Myla-Rose, and DeAarion Forsyth. Sandra also leaves two brothers, Fred Brown and his wife Nancy, Roger Brown and his wife Barbara, a very special family member Brian Parrish, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who all loved her.

The family will receive friends from 1:15 until service time at 2pm, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.
