

Sharon Acang, 61, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 23, 1963, in Quezon City, Philippines, and throughout her life, she remained a devoted Christian, a praise warrior for God, and a source of love and strength for those around her.
Sharon’s faith was the foundation of her life. She lived with unwavering trust in God, inspiring those who knew her with her deep devotion and love for worship. She was not only a woman of strong faith but also a gifted baker and artist, pouring her heart into everything she created. Whether she was baking something special for her loved ones or expressing herself through art, she brought warmth and joy to everyone she touched.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gregorio Acang Jr.; her beloved children, Timothy Acang, Tamara Acang, and Tabitha Acang; and her treasured grandchildren, Caiden Acang and Carter Acang, whom she adored. She also leaves behind her mother, Carmencita Tolentino, and her cherished siblings: Sheilah Dunn (Jeff), Sharman Linchangco (Ernest), Samuel Tolentino (Glenda), Stephen Tolentino (Sheila), and Simon Tolentino (Lydda); and her cousin, Trinidad Gutierrez.
Sharon’s kindness, faith, and creativity will forever be remembered by her family and friends. Her love was a guiding light, and while she will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Sharon's beautiful life on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133. A time for fellowship and remembrance will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM to honor and celebrate her life.
