Shirley Diane Ballard, 64, died Monday evening,June 10, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. She was born May 18, 1949 to the late John Willis and Iva Marie Davis Deering in Gary, Indiana. She was a member of the Trimble Baptist Church, Co-owner of the Showstars Dance Academy and mother to all. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ray Ballard, a daughter, Julie Brooks, 2 sons, Rodney and Ryan Ballard; a sister, Linda Deering, a brother, Bob Deering and grandchildren, Doty, Brenna and Davis Ballard, Kelsey and Austin Brooks and a grandson on the way. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5pm – 8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Bartlett. Graveside services will be 10am, Saturday June 15 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, with a reception following in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
