Sue Caryl Netter

Sue Caryl Netter was born on December 18, 1950 in Bangor, Maine to the late Robert Emery and Shirley Smith. She grew up a happy child and enjoyed the Northeast through high school where she graduated from Houlton High in 1969. Following graduation, she had the opportunity to join her sister in Florida. While in Florida, she met the love of her life, Larry Netter who was attending electronics school in the Marine Corps. They were married in 1970 after dating just a few short months and remained married to the day of her passing. Sue had a love of life and all things around her. Family always came first and that included all of her animals that she saw as family members. Her veterinarian said when he reincarnates, he would like to come back as one of Sue’s animals. When Sue was in a room, her contagious laugh was recognized and adored by everyone around her. Her laugh, her love of life and her wonderful personality will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Larry Christopher Netter. She is survived by her husband, Larry Netter; son, Christopher Netter of Lakeland, TN; sister, Mae Salisbury of Dothan, AL; brothers, Scott of Austin, TX, Doug of TX, Donald of Pueblo, CO; sister-in-law’s, Linda Stanton of Gainesville FL and Valerie Ulrich (Volker) of San Francisco, CA, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
