Susie M Jones

She was born to the late Jay and Frances Tobias on August 18, 1937 in Covington, Tennessee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie D. Jones; her sisters, Helen Demarco, Marie Johnston; and her brothers, James Meade Tobias, George Tobias, and Joe Tobias.

Susie is survived by her daughters, Carolyn S. McClain, Sherry Marchant (Jerry); grandchildren, Jerry Marchant, III (Stephanie), Sam Marchant (Emily); great-grandchildren, Autumn Marchant, Logan Marchant, Collin Marchant, Nolan Marchant, Lyla Marchant; and her sisters, Katherine Conner and Dorothy Hall (Robert).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to The Wounded Warriors Project.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 6 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN.
