Thelma Lineberger Brown, 92, of Memphis, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Ave Maria Nursing Home. Thelma was a long time member of Decatur Trinity Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph C. Brown and her daughter Carol L. Kinney. Thelma is survived by her sons; Mike Lineberger (Robbie) of Iuka, MS, Jerry Lineberger (Claudia), of Knoxville, TN, a son-in-law John Kinney, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters Juanita Ralph (Howard), Sue Rabun, and her brother C.D. Thomason, Jr (Delores). The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at 2pm, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the dedicated staff of Ave Maria Nursing Home where Thelma has resided over the last 15 years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Ave Maria Foundation.
