Tiny Sue Cooper

Tiny Sue Cooper went to be with her Lord on January 16, 2015 at Covington Care Nursing Home three days before her 97th birthday. She was born in Kerrville, TN on January 19, 1918, the daughter of Frank Joyner and Jessie Sanders Joyner. Tiny Sue was a 1936 graduate of Bolton High School. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Open Door Bible Church in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Howard H. Cooper, in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Elton Joyner. She is survived by two sons, Donald Cooper (Barbara) of Lakeland, TN and Frank Cooper (Fay) of Rosemark, TN, five granddaughters, Pamela Tyler (Byron), Brenda Berthelson (Chad), Angela Dickerson (Greg), Karen Latimer (John), Dawn Chambers (Ricky), thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be Monday, January 19, from 6:00-8:00 pm and the service will be Tuesday, January 20 at 10:00 am at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway. Burial will be at Bethuel Cemetery in Millington, TN.
