Tom Gibson, 67, of Collierville, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry R. Sr. and Hazel Gibson. Mr. Gibson is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Gibson, two daughters, Emily Smith and her husband Graham of Olive Branch, MS. and Carrie Gibson of Los Angeles, CA., two grandchildren, Kenna and Owen Smith, and two siblings, Kay Lindenfield of Memphis, TN. and Harry R. Gibson, Jr., of Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, January 15 from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be held on Friday at 2pm also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.
