

Virginia Faye Stephens, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed on October 21, 2016; she was 81. Faye was born to Ben and Callie Powers Langston in DeSoto County, Mississippi on November 4, 1934. She graduated from Olive Branch High School and soon moved to Memphis where she worked for MLG&W and the IRS. She was primarily devoted to her family as a homemaker, spending countless hours supporting her children at various school and church functions. Her greatest love was being involved in the lives of her grandchildren and being the best "Grannie" that they could ever have, especially sewing their baptismal gowns. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Osler Z. Stephens; a sister, Barbara Lilly of Savannah, Tennessee; three sons, Joseph Amagliani (Cissy), Patrick Amagliani, and John Amagliani (Amanda); one daughter, Ginger Moll; three step-children, Brenda Richter (Paul), Lori Bramlett (Bobby), and Dr. David Stephens (Cheri); fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends the evening of Monday, October 24 from six until eight o'clock at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee.
