Virginia Carol Tatum was born March 8, 1945, in Memphis, TN. She went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2026. She was 80½ years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Larry E. Tatum; her parents, Maud and Woodrow Ingram; two sisters, Louis and Alice; and one brother, Charles. She is survived by one sister, Shirley, and one brother, Woody.
She has four children: Debbie (Walter) Boucher, Cindy (Donnie) Rhinehardt, Larry Jr. (Deanna) Tatum, and Sonya (Jay) Jenkins; ten grandchildren; and six great‑grandchildren, with two more on the way. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.
A visitation for Carol will be Thursday, January 22, from 1–2 p.m., with the service to follow at 2 p.m.at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens
