Virginia Faye Wilson

Virginia Faye Clayton Wilson, born on March 30th, 1938 in Lawrenceburg TN passed away peacefully with her children by her side on December 15th, 2025 in Memphis TN at the age of 87. She was retired from UT Medical Center Continuing Medical Education Dept. and was a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church in Atoka, TN.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Ted Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her parents Clyde Clayton and Bettie Hayes Clayton, her brothers Kenneth Clayton, Rayford Clayton and nephew Keith Clayton.

She is survived by her daughter Renee Johnson (Todd) of Bartlett, TN and her son Mike Wilson (Denise) of Atoka, TN. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kameron Johnson (Elise), Blythe Johnson, Kyle Talley (Amanda) and Clayton Talley. 5 great grandchildren, Sadie Johnson, Hayes Johnson, Payton Talley, Riley Talley and Knox Talley.

She is also survived by her nieces Kathy Zeitlin and Kelli Gillham and nephews Kenny Clayton and Kim Clayton.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20,2025 and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2025 both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St Jude or charity of donor's choice.
