Cenallda Lopez

Cenallda was born on April 28, 1948, in Taylor TX to the late Francisco and Petra Perez. One of six children, she lived most of her life in the Holland/Bartlett area, where she built a life rooted in family, hard work, and community.

She married Vincent Lopez Sr. on October 24, 1973, in Bell County Texas. Together, they worked side-by-side at Temple College for 27 years, enjoying campus events, meaningful friendships, and shared memories until their retirement in 2000.

Cenallda found joy in playing BINGO, taking car rides, working outdoors, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Veronica Lopez (Patrick), Priscilla Cortez (Sammy), Vincent Lopez Jr. (Savannah), all of Holland, Texas, and one sister Silveria Tschoerner (Delvin) of Schwertner, Texas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Samuel Cortez Jr. (Anastasia), Victoria Cortez-Felemi (Mosese), Albert Martinez (Savannah), Lillian Martinez, Andrew Perez all of Holland, Texas, Christopher Perez of Plano, Texas, and Eden Maldonado (Antonio) of Watauga, Texas. Her great grandchildren include Elias, Tuifio, Silas, Uriah, Elaine, and baby Felemi, expected soon.

Cenallda was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Lopez Sr., her parents Francisco and Petra Perez: her sister Julia Alderete; and her brothers Margarito Perez, Urbano “Sodie” Perez, and Doniciano “Felix” Perez.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Goodnight, Funeral Home, 209 Professor Powell Blvd. Bartlett, Texas on Friday January 23, 2026, at 10 AM. A reception will follow at the Schwertner Community Center at 14775 FM 1105 Jarrell, Texas 76537.

A private family burial will take place at a later date.
