Charles Roger Gold, (“Chuck”), 81, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away on May 8, 2025 at a local hospital. Chuck was born on December 31, 1943 in Clever, MO, to parents, Harley Gold and Dorothy Young. He married Betty Everett on January 9, 1988. She survives.
Also left to cherish Chuck’s memory is his loving family: sons, Timothy Gold of Green Valley, and James Gold of Colorado, and Christopher Gold (Melanie) of Tennessee; daughter, Michelle Null (Mike) of Manito; stepdaughters, Gail Matesevac (Ed) of Colorado, Lorie Little (Frank) of Creve Coeur, and Amy Goeken (Dave) of Peoria; 19 grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren.
Chuck retired from Caterpillar with 35 years of service in 1996. Chuck was a beekeeper. He also loved gardening and spending time with family.
Funeral services for Chuck will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 1:00pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
