Daniel Todd Johanson

He was born July 22, 1960 in Peoria to Eugene and Katherine (Day) Johanson. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Katherine Johanson of Canton, his fiancée, Becky of Mapleton, two soon-to-be daughters: Tabitha (Erik) Scanlon of Hanna City, Jenna (Mike) Williams of Bartonville, three soon-to-be grandchildren: Hayley, Hudson & Cole, one sister, Brenda (Paul) Hyneman of Glasford, two brothers: Brad (Theresa) Johanson of Hanna City, Rod Johanson of Bartonville, four nieces: Sara, Jessica & Shannon Hyneman, Marissa Johanson, two nephews: Adam and Ben Johanson, several cousins, and his dog and best companion, Trixie.

Dan was currently owner and operator of Johanson Land Care out of Bartonville. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Dan was full of life and was loved by all. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family, friends and dog.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the church. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
