Danny Lohman

He was born December 23, 1948 in Rock Island, IL to Donald C. and Patricia L. (Birrell) Lohman. He married Barbara Gailliaert on November 2, 1997 in Groveland. She survives.

Also surviving are his children Crystal (Brian) Krigner of East Peoria, Sandra (Dwayne) Wood of Bartonville, Heather (Amos Dickerson) Cotelleso of Bartonville; six grandchildren Brian “BJ”, Brittney, Christina, Brett “Boo”, Kimberly, a grandchild on the way; and one great-grandson, Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny worked for Caterpillar for 34 and a half years. He was currently doing engine testing at the Mossville Plant.

He was a member of Men That Care, as part of the Head Start program and the ASPCA. Danny used to race stock cars when he was younger. He loved racing, NASCAR, the History Channel, and his family and his pets. He loved watching football and the Super Bowl with his Kids and grandchildren. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson. He touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday at the Chapel. Entombment will be in Parkview Memorial Chapel Mausoleum.
